*COMMUNITY COMPLAINT PROCESS*

Copies of an unsigned/undated complaint letter was produced against certain staff members. Through discussion, it was decided a grievance procedure is needed. Suggested Grievance Procedure:

  • In the case of grievance, and "Incident Report" is filed. This triggers the process. The Incident Report is signed and dated then forwarded to Human Resoureces. Based on the information of the Incident Report, the HR will investigate the complaint.
  • The named staff member(s) on the Incident Report shall be interviewed to get her/his/their side of the complaint
  • Once all the information is gathered the HR will decide whether the complaint is groundless or substantiated.
  • If the Incident Report findings prove groundless; then Human Resoureces will meet the Community member to discuss the findings and decision.
  • If the Incident Report findings are substantiated, then the HR will meet with the staff member and the PCN Personnel Manual Progressive Discipline
